| Gripple for 10-14 ga wire. Gripple is a unique wire joining and tensioning system, consisting of the Gripple Joiner and Tensioner and the Gripple Tensioning Tool. At the heart of the system is the internally acclaimed, award winning Gripple Joiner and Tensioner. The unique Gripple design gives strength and durability, both essential requirements for outdoor use in extreme climatic conditions. Gripples have a 100% zinc alloy outer casing. Inside there are two precision serrated, hardened steel rollers which act as a locking mechanism. The rollers, supported by two stainless steel springs, allow the Gripple to be re-tensioned or reused as required. The second component of the system, the Gripple Tensioning Tool takes up the wire tension when installing or during seasonal maintenance. The real benefit of using the Gripple is its ease of use - simply push the wire through the Gripple. Pass a length of at least 50mm of wire through the other side of the Gripple; this will help future adjustments and re-tensioning. Once the Gripple is in position, and tension is applied , the rollers lock automatically onto the wire. Wire tension can be increased at any time by simply pulling more through the Gripple. To remove the Gripple, cut the wire and pull the ends through. The Gripple is now ready to use again. The Gripple's clever design allows installations and repairs to be secured in seconds. This saves time,money and materials.
